The 5th edition of the largest conference for hotel industry in the East-Central Europe, Hotel Trends Poland & CEE, organised by Hotelarz monthly magazine publisher, will take place on 27-28 November, at the Sofitel Warszawa Victoria hotel. The event’s substantive patron is CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real-estate consulting and investment company, while Orbis Group and Samsung have become, again, its strategic partners. During the conference winners of the Hotelier of the Year competition will be announced.

Hotel Trends Poland & CEE is a forum for exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices in the hotel industry. In one place it gathers hotel owners, investors, management staff, hotel companies board chairpersons and trustees, representatives of global and Polish domestic hotel chains, developers, banks and investment funds, let alone architects, designers and largest providers of products and services for hotel industry. At the conference Polish and international experts and practitioners will discuss, among other things, directions of changes in global hotel industry and their impact on Polish market, designing modern and user-friendly hotel interiors, resort hotels market in Poland, problems on labour market, modern technologies in the hotel industry, or soft brands. During the Chief Executive Officers on Polish hotel market panel discussion directors of best hotels will talk about greatest operational problems they face in their every-day work.

- Presence of so many Polish and international experts at the last year’s conference inspired a whole lot of profound discussions on material challenges facing hotel industry all over the world which have now or soon will have an impact on Polish market. We do our best to make each meeting’s programme inspiring and dynamic. We keep at  making this year’s forum even more attractive, involving and adjusted to the participants’ needs. - says Krzysztof Gonciarek, a trustee at Polskie Wydawnictwa Specjalistyczne (Polish Specialist Publishing House) ProMedia, publisher of the Hotelarz monthly magazine.

The second, a more technical day, will consist of three simultaneous sessions, each of them comprising three modules. One of them - under the aegis of Izba Gospodarcza Hotelarstwa Polskiego (Polish Hotel Industry Chamber of Economy) will be devoted to broadly understood questions of security of and at the hotels (new regulations on personal data protection, terrorist threats, fire-fighting regulations).

- The Hotel Trends conference is a groundbreaking approach to organisation of business conferences in Poland. It combines international discussion panels and educational workshops with potentiality of networking. Year by year the event congregates largest numbers of hotel industry experts. It is a great time to exchange experiences and gain new knowledge. At the moment Poland is experiencing a period of spectacular development of the industry, so it is worth talking. We are happy that CBRE can support the event with our experience, and we are preparing an interesting agenda now. - adds Marta Abratowska-Janiec, Senior Consultant at CBRE Hotels.

The first day of the event will conclude with an evening gala, when winners of the most prestigious competition in Polish hotel industry, the Hotelier of the Year, will be announced in seven categories (registration has already begun, more information on www.hoteltrends.pl/konkurs). The Hotel Trends conference will be accompanied by suppliers’ trade fair where the latest products and services will be presented. In the last year’s conference almost 70 domestic and international experts and 400 most important decision-makers of the Polish hotel industry participated. All previous Hotel Trends Poland & CEE editions brought together over 1,400 representatives of the grandest hotel brands of the world, as well as experts, owners, managers of chain and independent hotels in Poland.
